Letter 01

Arthenéa is now a reality, but for a long time, it was just a whisper in the back of my mind—one I almost lost to the noise of a fast-paced world.

The Name
Arthenéa was born from two worlds. First, Art Nouveau (Art + Nea), a movement that  reinterpretes nature in every sphere of craftsmanship and truly inspires me. Second, it honors Minerva (the Roman Athena), who represents not only wisdom but the sacred dimension of craftsmanship.

The Path: From Architecture to the Thread

My hands have always known the rhythm of the needles. I learned to knit as a child, and in my teens, I was already sewing my own clothes to find a fit that felt like "me." Life took me through Architecture, an Erasmus in Florence, and finally, a Master’s in Fashion.

It was during the quiet, forced pause of 2020 when the spark truly ignited. With the world at a standstill, I began embroidering jackets with glass beads, translating Van Gogh’s brushstrokes into something I could touch.

The breaking point

For the last two years, I lived in the heart of the knitwear-luxury industry. I would design for the biggest names and develop challenging and inspiring projects, but I was also lost. Three hours of commuting every day, working weekends, and a persistent "brain fog" that wouldn't lift. I was creating beauty for others, but I had no time or strength to breathe life into my own vision. I was part of a frantic system, and I was exhausted.

The Reset: Finding the Ocean

So, I did the only thing that felt right: I left. I walked the Camino de Santiago alone for a month, facing the ocean. In that silence, Arthenéa came back to me. I realized I wanted to create a brand that respects the human soul and the clock.

Our Vision: No Tapes, Just Forms

This is my invitation to you: to value ancestral techniques, to seek happiness in a slow, conscious life, and to connect with others who also need to breathe outside this frantic rhythm.

I am still clearing the fog, but I am finally living again.

Welcome to the atelier.
