Letter 03

Spring is finally here, and within the walls of the atelier, something deeply personal is blooming too.

For years, I kept a garden of ideas ripening inside me. They were quiet, waiting for the right light to break through the surface. Today, Arthenéa is the result of that long, patient growth—an épanouissement of everything I’ve held close to my heart.

The First Brushstroke

Arthenéa began with a single gesture: translating Van Gogh’s thick, emotional brushstrokes into lines of beads on my first embroidered jacket, Starry Night. It was instinctive. His art didn't just inspire me; it gave me a language to speak through my hands.

This is why, for our first collection, I felt drawn back to his flowers. To me, flowers are more than a motif; they are symbols of life, light, and the constant evolution of the feminine spirit.

The Sunflowers: A Radiant Present

I chose the Twelve Sunflowers. Perhaps it’s no coincidence that 12 is my lucky number—it felt like a sign. This piece captures the solar side of our character. It is extroverted, joyful, and deeply rooted in the present moment. It’s for the days when we want to radiate warmth and celebrate the simple act of embracing the light.

The Irises: A Sophisticated Depth

On the other side, we have the Field of Irises. If the sunflowers are the sun, the irises are the moonlight. They represent sensuality, elegance, and a sophisticated touch of the femme fatale. They are for the moments when we embrace our inner complexity and the quiet confidence of our own nature.

These two opposite essences give dimension to the collection, mirroring the different shades of our inner selves.

The Launch is Near

As the season turns, we are getting closer to the day these artifacts will finally be yours. The next letter will arrive just before the official launch of the collection. I can hardly wait to begin this adventure with you.
